If you need to cancel a shipment - whether it is because your customer changed their mind or you made an error in processing. You can do so right from within your LABL account.
Not all carriers have the same cancelation policy, and labels will not be canceled and refunded unless you request them.
USPS Labels: To cancel a USPS label for a refund (standard or return) from LABL, it must have been purchased within the last 28 days and not move past "Accepted" on a USPS SCAN form.
Canceling a USPS label will send an automatic refund request. After approval by the USPS, which is usually within 21 days, refunded postage will be returned to your account.
UPS Labels: You can request a UPS label cancelation within 30 days after a label is created. If a label was not scanned, a refund would be immediately issued to your UPS account. You do not need to wait for UPS to review. If a label were scanned or used, no refund would be issued.
FedEx: FedEx has specific requirements for canceling FedEx Ground or FedEx Home Delivery labels for a refund from within LABL. These shipments must be canceled on or before the Ship Date for the cancelation request to be successful. FedEx will only charge for labels that are scanned and shipped. With FedEx multi-box shipping, when one shipment needs to be canceled within a group of shipments, the entire group needs to be canceled to get a refund for the shipment.
DHL: DHL Express does not support canceling shipment labels.
